UPRIGHT WINTER (2023)

In her first solo exhibition in Germany, " Mùa Đông Ngay Thẳng," (Upright winter), Thuy Tien examines belonging, insecurities, balance, and lost memories through  echoing sound installation, and oddly cut-throat vulnerable sculptures. By challenging notions of support, normalcy, and balance, she prompts viewers to reflect on their experiences and emotions. The immersive installation creates a soft yet tension-filled atmosphere that both allures and unsettles, inviting viewers to explore the complexities of human connection and introspection.
